Delivery Information

Fast Dispatch
Most orders are sent out within one working day (with the exception of living products such as nematodes). We feel its in everyone's best interests to get orders out as soon as possible and we manage our stock levels to achieve a prompt dispatch.

Postcode Restrictions
Some very large and heavy items, such as our heaviest compost bins carry an additional delivery charge for certain parts of the UK. This is based on postcode (remote Scottish Highlands, the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, or other remote UK postcodes) and the extra charges are a true reflection of the costs incurred. The costs are displayed during checkout. If you haven't ordered an item marked as large and heavy then the standard delivery fee of £2.49 will apply.

Royal Mail and Couriers
Almost all of our packages are sent using Royal Mail's First Class service. Parcels that can't be sent this way will normally be sent through by courier or Royal Mail Standard Parcels.

Delivery fees and time scales
All orders unless otherwise specified are subject to a delivery and packaging fee of £2.49. If an item is out of stock you will be informed during the checkout process. We receive stock from our suppliers on a regular basis and most items will be available in less than two weeks. We will contact you to discuss any other delays to your order.

International
We send many items overseas. We obtain shipping quotes from various carriers. Please let us know what items you require before making payment so we can calculate the size and weight of the package and provide you with an accurate and competitive shipping quote.
 

If you add special instructions to your order indicating that you would like the delivery to be left outside your property - this is at your own risk.

Please contact us prior to order if you, live outside the UK (we cannot deliver nematodes outside the UK), require an urgent delivery or require a delayed delivery date.

Nematodes Storage and Delivery
Nematodes are a living organism and as such need to be stored in the appropriate conditions.
You can store your nematodes in the fridge (do not freeze) for up to four weeks, but always check the use by date on the packaging.
To ensure that your nematodes arrive in peak condition we post directly to you from the manufacturer. You can be confident that our nematodes are fresh, have been stored appropriately and have the longest possible use by date.
Orders placed and paid for prior to noon on Tuesday will be shipped on Thursday to arrive in the Friday/Saturday post.
We endeavour to process your order quickly so you receive your nematodes as soon as possible. However, If you order after Tuesday noon your order may not be processed until the following week. Please contact us for more information if required. Your nematode delivery date can be chosen at the time of ordering - this will also appear in your confirmation email.

Bank and Public Holiday Delivery
If the predicted delivery of nematodes is going to fall on a bank holiday we will bring the dispatch date forwards a day or two to avoid nematodes being returned to the mail depot. Whenever possible we will post details of changes to the dispatch dates of nematodes on the front page of the site.

Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any order and refund your money in full.
In line with the distance selling regulations, you may cancel an order within 7 days of receiving the goods. Nematode orders cannot be cancelled after they have been committed to the manufacturer due to their perishable nature.
If you wish to cancel an order after we have dispatched the goods, you must also return the goods to us.

Returns
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item should you wish to return it.
Due to their perishable nature we do not accept returns of nematode products.
Items should be unused and in as new resalable condition.
You must pay the cost of returning an item. We suggest you use a signed for or insured method of delivery.

Faulty or Damaged Items
If you receive a faulty or damaged item you can return it to us for an exchange or a refund.
If you request a refund for a faulty item we will reimburse you for the full cost of the item.
Please contact us before returning an item.

Please allow up to 14 working days from the day that you return your order for us to process your exchange or refund.

We Reuse Packaging Material
Please don't be offended if your order is not packaged in brand new packing material. We feel strongly about reusing packaging where it is appropriate to do so.

Delivery to an Alternate Address
We reserve the right to deliver items only to your billing or credit/debit card address. To avoid delays your first order should always be delivered to your credit/debit card address.

Pay how you like.
