New for the home gardner Nemasys Grow Your Own Pest Control is a unique mix of different nematode species to target a broad range of pests. Combats Carrot Root Fly, Cabbage Root Fly, Leatherjackets, Cutworms, Onion Fly, Ants, Sciarid Fly, Caterpillars, Gooseberry Sawfly, Thrips and Codling Moth. Safe to use on food and organic crops. It will not harm pets, children, wildlife or bees.
For best results this product should be applied throughout the growing season at weekly or fortnightly intervals.
The time and method of application will vary depending on the pests you are treating for. Each pack treats an area of 60 sq.m or 16 trees for Codling Moth. Full instructions are included with the pack. A pump sprayer will be needed to treat for Caterpillars, Codling Moth, Gooseberry Sawfly and Thrips. The other pests can be treated by applying though a watering can fitted with a coarse rose.
Orders will usually be posted on Thursday to arrive in the Friday/Saturday post. Orders may need to be ordered and dispatched earlier around public and bank holidays or during postal strikes - a notice will be posted on the front page should this be the case. You can choose a delayed delivery by selecting from the delivery options at the top of the page.
These nematodes have a life of approximately 6 weeks from dispatch.
We ship directly to you from the manufacturer to ensure you get the longest possible use by date.
You should store your nematodes in the fridge and use the whole packet in one go.
